Blind Access: To access these blinds you must put in at the Hospital Point boat ramp and head east out into the Potomac and motor past the marina, Chopawamsic island, and the air facility (see restriction zone details). The distance to the first blind is roughly 3 miles. |

Blind D
This blind is the northernmost blind on the Potomac and is located on the beach at the edge of the water line with heavy vegetation behind the blind. The water level will vary with the tide, and a strong south or west wind can move the water line 10 to 20 meters from the blind. There is a hard surface bottom generally free of obstructions with a gentle slope. This blind has no dog door/ramp.

Blind 9
This blind sits on the edge of the water line with an embankment directly behind it. The water level in front of the blind will vary with the tide. There is a hard surface bottom generally free of obstructions with a gentle slope. This blind has no dog door/ramp.

Blind 10
This blind sits on the sandy shore beach with an embankment directly behind it. The water level in front of the blind will vary with the tide. There is a hard surface bottom with a gentle slope. This blind is adjacent to private property and there is a large private blind located roughly 150 meters south. There are submerged pylons just to the south of the blind which run from the shoreline out into the water. This blind has no dog door/ramp.
